Québec City & Château : Cropped french jacket & Wide leg pant

Have you ever seen a dream ?
Needless to ask, as everyone of us had one or another dream. I really want to confess something, I am a total dreamer and throughout my life I believed on Cinderella’s love story.  I dream of a city full of beauty, simplicity and love in it and to everyone’s surprise I am fallen in love with Québec. I was there for 2 nights and look I am still there..sigh !!

Someone has rightly saidQuébec does not have opinions, but only sentiments.

Hilly roads, french panorama, fine dining, culture heritage, old buildings, Chateau Frontenac Fairmont, rue Saint-Jean & romance is all, I can find in Québec. It was one of the most stress-free trip for me and now I am totally rejuvenated. Trip started with me & Dips strolling around in Québec city with wonderful bus tour and I ended my trip with Cruise & fireworks. Needless to mention, these beautiful memories are going to be staying in my heart for ever.  We had a chance to click some of the beautiful views of Québec but below are few of my favorite ones. Hope you enjoy them.

Marie Saint Pierre & Knit mesh dress : Flutter sleeves & Asymmetrical ruffle

Hi everyone

I am very excited to showcase this wonderful dress by Marie Saint Pierre from Reitman collection. She is an award-winning designer from Montreal. I always admired her design and her use of vibrant colours and silky fabric. This dress was part of her Spring 2012 collection and is a great designer piece. I wish her very best for her further collections.
Most beautiful thing I found in this dress is it’s flutter silky sleeves and ruffles between dress. It is absolutely perfect for evening party. I added little more feminine touch by highlighting waist  with help of red sleek belt and red pumps. I wore golden accessories to add shine to this unique dress.

Hope you all like it.

Passage to India Look 2 : Peacock blue kurti & Printed churidar

Hi everyone,

So I am back with Look 2 from my Passage to India series (Checkout Look 1 here).
My husband has a personal view that I compliment Indian outfit much better than western, so here is  my second look in Indian outfits.

Coming back to outfit, I simply love this beautiful Nehru collar kurti with little embroidery and touch of green. I used mint green nail paint and mint green ring to bring instant summer look. Don’t you think Indian dresses are very pretty and traditional. It is elegant yet chick. Hope you all enjoyed my attempt.

People seldom notice old clothes if you wear a big smile.  ~Lee Mildon

Above quote totally justify my look in this old collection of dress. Indian kurti & churidar is one of the best casual form of dressing that exists in India, Pakistan and in Middle East. Designers use embroidary  &  lace to generate most of the  fashionable addition in these Indian wears.

Feel free to share your perspective by your comments
